HARRISBUG – State Rep. Sue Helm (R-Dauphin/Lebanon) will be hosting two drive-thru veterans appreciation events for veterans of the 104th legislative district. Veterans in attendance will receive a free boxed lunch, recognition certificate and veteran’s pin.

The first event will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ridgeway Community Church, located at 525 N. Progress Avenue in Harrisburg. The second event will be held a week later on Friday, October 30, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, located at 982 Medical Road in Millersburg.

“Our veterans are no strangers to hardship. Even in these difficult times, we owe it to our veterans to see that they receive the recognition they deserve,” said Helm. “I encourage all veterans from the 104th District who have served our great nation to attend, and I look forward to meeting with these wonderful heroes.”

Please note that these events are limited to veterans within the 104th legislative district. Registration is required by Friday, October 9, 2020, for these events. If interested, please register by calling Helm’s district office at 717-692-0833.
